The application research and development of WPC materials

Due to the  prominent partial decorative effect on the home furnishing environment, WPC materials are gaining more and more popularity among customers. With its high culture value of the product style, the connotation of the brand is thus improved, so the popularity of this kind of product will continue.

WPC is a kind of reinforced modified thermoplastic material filled by wood fibers or plant fibers,it contains the features of both wood and plastics.
Through extrusion or pressing, the WPC materials are made into other products, replacing wood and plastic materials. Research on the wood fiber and plastics mixing already has a history of 80 years, but it never went industrialized. It began to be used for some sound absorbing products only about 15 years ago.

With the improvement of environment protection conception, the construction industries are looking for alternative materials for wood.(corrosion-resistant, non-warping,easy to repair,having the similar appearance as wood). In South Korea and Japan, paper and wood processing factories are looking for application of sawing wood powder and waste sawdust, and all these promote and accelerate the research and development of WPC materials. Many countries invest in a lot power and money this field and especially the production of profiles, it is called a "hot" market.
